From the time we walked in to the food was delivered we were met with all smiles, southern hospitality, and then when the food came, it blew our minds away so authentic so good. Great place.
I have eaten here twice and my review is 5 stars. If you like Mexican food (I happen to love Mexican food) and you appreciate quality food, fair portions, and fair prices this is a worthy stop. The owner and staff are very nice, even smiling. The restaurant is clean and it appears they take pride in presenting a quality product. If you are from the city, West Palm to Vero Beach like me, and like drives through the country (we like looking at the cows in the center of the state, or as my wife would say, cowsies) then I believe a trip to La Cabana in Okeechobee will not disappoint. Plus, I'm coming back for their homemade chips.
Came for a late lunch - we were a party of 6 and ordered and sat quickly. You order at the counter, take a number and they bring it to your table. We waited about 10 minutes for food but it came out fresh and hot, and we were served chips and salsa while we waited. Food was so so good! You can tell they were making it fresh and that’s why it took a little bit. Will def be back.
We absolutely love this place!! Not only is the food phenomenal but the prices are great as well! The owner is very involved and the servers very nice! If you haven’t been there definitely try it out and support the locals!

When we entered the restaurant it was very clean. The staff was very kind. They answers all our questions because it was our first time there. They welcomed us because it was our first time. We had chips and salsa while waiting for our to go food. The chips were good. Thier salsa was warm ( totally different) good tho. They brought us our order and we went home to eat. My husband opened up all the entrees he said that everything looks really good. We sat down to eat our dinner and it was a big success with all three of us The food was great.
Amazing. Service was on point, food was fast and very fresh. The prices were very reasonable for the quantity provided. The ladies keep the dining room very clean and are very attentive to all of your needs. The manager/ owner was our server. He made sure that all food came out to the ordered specifications. Very fresh food. We eat at a lot of Mexican restaurants and this is by far one of the best.
